You can't fake it till you make it
In this business its not about you, its about who you can help. So many people think they need to see results or have a claim to fame before they are able to start helping people. Maybe you’ve been told that you need to fake it till you make it but I want to tell you, it is far better to take people on your journey. By showing them you can lead yourself, you will inspire them to follow, and empower them to lead. And if you can demonstrate how you can help solve their problems, they care less about your success and more about their own. And they care more about how you handle your imperfections than they do about you being perfect. No one is perfect, and besides people can tell when you’re faking it, trust me.
The best copy cat does not win
The best copy cat might win when it comes to systems and processes, or when it comes to memorizing a presentation…but not when it comes to how others perceive you and building relationships. If you aren’t bringing your own flare to this business, and showing people your personality, your unique strengths and weaknesses, and your perspectives, you will not stand out in the noise. You will not give them a reason to follow, to tune in, or to take action if you are like everyone else. Be original, do you, and be your best you.
Success takes time
There are few people who have over night success, and if it appears like they do, don’t be discouraged. You didn’t see what they had to do behind the scenes leading up to their success. Creating success is a combination of mindset and skillset, and most people never get it right the first time or right out the gates. They put the hard work in day after day, taking action, reflecting on what is working and what isn’t, fine tuning their processes and than scaling. Yes there are turn key systems and blueprints that can help fast track you, and you can get results quicker, but in order for that to happen, you need to be willing to expand your comfort zones quickly, take massive action immediately, and not hesitate to fail forward in the process.

You don't have to be perfect to start creating results
Everyone starts at the beginning. Isn’t that comforting to know? You don’t have to be perfect or know everything to get started, you just have to be willing to take the first step and believe in your ability to learn and figure things out. Commit more to the journey than the outcome of what you want, because sometimes our results look different than we expected them to, and thats ok. We cant control the outcome but we can control our actions and where we place our focus.
Confidence and Self Belief comes from taking action
Many people are afraid to get started because they feel they lack the confidence or that they don’t have the right personality. They feel that they need to first focus on building their confidence before they can confidently start taking action. But in reality, you don’t need confidence, you need courage. Everything starts with having courage to try something new, be willing to fail forward, and build your confidence along the way. Like a child who falls learning to walk, and than gets up feeling stronger and more confident with each try, that is how entrepreneurship feels.
Good products aren't enough to determine your success
Having a great product or great idea is only 1 part of your success. If you don’t know how to get your product in front of people or know how to expand your network, you business will struggle. Marketing is the backbone to every businesses success, and your target audience needs to be exposed to your product or service multiple times and understand how it can solve their problems before they will be ready to make a purchase. If you don’t have a solid system in place for exposing, involving, and upgrading your target audience to your product and/or service, you will struggle to get the word out to enough people to create the kind of momentum you need to create success in your business.
Being yourself is the most affective strategy in your branding
When it comes to marketing your business your personal brand is the key to your success to influencing people to take action. People buy from people that they know like and trust. If you can build a brand that demonstrates how much you care about helping people, why you are passionate about what you do, and your audience can resonate with you and your over all message and they feel like you understand them…you are creating a win win environment for every one. Having an authentic brand and message, and showing up as real as possible, is my opinion (and from all of the positive feedback I receive on this) the most affective strategy for influencer marketing.
