Attracting your dream team is all about nurturing relationships, learning how to give, how to connect, and learning to ask the right questions. Building your tribe is about how you position yourself, how you design your relationships, and finding people who share the same vision and values...and that begins with you. It starts with learning and defining who you are, and how you're going to show up each day. And this goes for both online and offline strategies, although what I teach is all about building your business using online strategies.
You're going to attract different types of people at each stage of your business as you grow, and some you'll connect with more then others. The key is remembering that you don't have to be everything to everyone, but by being your authentic self always, you will continue to attract the right people to you. This is how you build your tribe...by building your authentic brand.
Why you need to grow a strong personal brand
Your brand is essentially your reputation. It's how you are perceived by others, so you want to take some time and be intentional about what you are putting out there. Your brand is less about what you do, and more about your beliefs, your values, and your unique perspectives about what you do. This is what sets you apart from your direct competition, builds trust and loyalty with your followers, and how you influence people to take action. This is how you make an impact, and the impression you leave will carry with you through out your career.
How you attract the right people into your business
As I said, it starts with you. It's not enough to know what kind of person you are looking for, you must also become the person you want to attract. Like attracts like. That's why Personal Development is a must, and creating strong healthy habits in both your personal and professional life. Then take people on your growth journey with you. People are inspired by your progress more then by your perfection. Share with them your vision and where you are going. Your messaging should communicate what you stand for, what you do, how you help solve their problems, and your beliefs and unique perspectives about what you do. Know who you are looking for, and how you can help them, and consistently show up and walk the walk.
What qualities should you be looking for
- Circle of Influence
- Track record for success
- Communication skills
- Fun and enjoys life
- Dedicated and consistent
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
The importance of building a strong network
Building a brand isn't just about finding customers and team, but its about building a community and a network amongst other like minded entrepreneurs so you can support one another. Your network is your net worth, and you never know the doors that one connection can open. When you approach networking as a means of connecting and finding people you want to do life with, rather then trying to pitch everyone you come across, you'll build friendships, collaborations, referrals, and opportunities beyond what you can possibly imagine.
