So you have a team, but there's just no duplication. You're working your tushy off, but you're struggling to inspire your team into action. Ever felt this way? You're just not sure what you can say or do to get them to take action and it feels like your treading water. Well, I know what that feels like because I've been there.
I used to feel so frustrated by the results we were getting and I felt like I was a one woman show. I mean, let's face it... without duplication, network marketing is a full time job. And I don't think that's what any of us came here for, am I right? So what are some of the things you need to have in place to make sure your business is running smoothly without feeling like its running you?
Duplication: System for Success
Systems are everything in this business. And I don't mean number formulas for how many actions you need to take. I mean systems that leverage your time and your teams time so everyone can drive more results from their efforts. You don't want a team that feels like they are eating, sleeping and breathing network marketing. Ugh that used to be me! I could never step away without that feeling that my business was going backwards. But that is not the case anymore. Now I have a thriving organization and a thriving lifestyle!
For your team to be able to succeed in this online world, you're going to have to put some work in if you don't already have these systems in place. Let's begin with the basics of getting a system set up for duplication.
Create a Step by step guide and training for your team on the following business principles:
- Launch your business
- How to brand yourself
- How to connect and prospect
- How to generate leads using attraction marketing, creating curiosity posts, and video
- How to prospect and recruit influencers
- How to acquire and retain customers
- How to follow up and close
- How to get team started and duplicate your success
- Leadership training
These are necessary trainings that your people need to have access to if they're going to create success online and in network marketing. I highly recommend you create resources that don't require you to teach every single person on your team individually. There just aren't enough hours in the day for that sort of thing, and there isn't any duplication in individual training.

Duplication: Tools and Resources
Next thing you want to do is make sure you have the structure set up for your people so they know where to access the information and how to easily share it with others. Again, simplicity is duplication, and duplication is the name of the game.
Groups: I think most people are using groups now a days in the network marketing space, but most of them are not using them to their full potential. These groups should be set up as funnels for your team to add prospects both on the customer side and the business side. There should be a group set up for your team to welcome and retain your customers. You also need a training group specifically for your team. This is the most simple way to get the information in front of people and make them feel like they are part of a community. I don't recommend each distributor starts their own individual group, that is way too much work for 1 person and not enough social proof for your organization. We have 1000s of members inside our groups so the groups do story telling for us. There is success and social proof in numbers, so if you want to go faster and further, work as a team.
Group chats: Having group chats for your entire team is the best form of leverage. Group chats are key when it comes to communicating directly with your leadership team, with your distributors, and with your prospects. This means you're not the only one answering all of your teams questions. Again, strength in numbers means less work for everyone and promotes a team atmosphere where people feel connected.
Training site: Your training site is where your team will know where to find all the best resources to get the best bang for buck with their time. This is a place that needs to be well organized so as to eliminate any confusion with the process of learning and implementing your system. Groups now make it very simple to do this as they have the unites sections and pinned posts and announcements options. We also have weekly on going training for our team to always stay plugged into the latest updates so they stay in action and inspired.
You can also create a resource site using word press if you'd like to have this on your own real estate. Having additional incentives can really help your team move in momentum and feel like they aren't doing this alone, and again, when you do this as a team you're working smarter not harder. Run quarterly and monthly campaigns and giveaways with your team. Create team challenges to show your team how much you appreciate them and reward them with a little cherry on top. This is the best way to give your leaders the extra coaching and incentive they need without having to spread yourself thin with one on one coaching. And something I have always done in this business is reward and recognize my team for a job well done. It is so important to give gratitude and appreciation to your team, because success in this business is after all a team effort.
